Elevator's in China Are SCARY DANGEROUS....

China has a poor record when it comes to elevator safety and deaths, but perhaps the most tragic happened in the Gaoling district of Xi'an when a woman met the worst imaginable fate. In January 2016 a maintenance crew was called to inspect an elevator in a residential building that had got stuck between the 10th and 11th floors. When the workers arrived they called out to make sure no one was in the elevator, but failed to manually check the car. When they got no answer they cut off the power supply leaving the elevator stuck. They didn't return until after the Lunar New Year holiday on March 1.

When they moved the elevator and opened the car to their horror they discovered the body of a woman trapped inside. The woman who had likely been dead for over a month had starved to death. Authorities identified her as 43 year old Ms Wu who lived in the apartment block.

It was later reported that her hands were mangled by her attempts to escape the elevator and there were scratch marks everywhere...a truly horrific way to die. The maintenance crew were detained as their gross negligence in not making proper checks resulted in involuntary manslaughter.
