In 1967, witnesses in Nova Scotia, Canada, saw something appear to crash into the waters off of Shag Harbour, then watched it travel out to sea. The case is notable for involving a UFO that appeared to travel underwater, and for prompting a secretive investigation - and subsequent coverup - from the US and Canadian militaries.
