Murderers Photobomb NBA Card #shorts

This first image looks innocent enough, it’s a 1990 NBA Hoops basketball card featuring former New York Knicks player Mark Jackson, not a particularly valuable card at the time: Jackson was a good player but not a stand out star. For many years the card has remained a fairly uninteresting piece of memorabilia in someone's collection. However in 2018 a redditor pointed out that sitting in the crowd behind Jackson was none other than Lyle and Erik Menendez, the high profile brothers who in August, 1989 slaughtered their wealthy parents José and Kitty. Even more chilling is at the time this photo was taken they had already murdered them and had gone on a massive spending spree, buying cars, expensive watches, and apparently, courtside tickets at Madison Square Garden. Eventually the brothers were arrested and convicted of the killings and sentenced to life without possibility of parole and they are currently incarcerated together at Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. For those who collect macabre memorabilia, since the discovery unsurprisingly the card has soared in value!
