YouTuber Finds Suitcase, Two Years Later Discovers it Contained a Dead Body...

Travel vlogger Sarah Funk has almost 170,000 followers on YouTube. She is best known for her videos that focus on New York City, but she also produces posts from her holiday travels around the world. Sarah was on holiday in Cyprus in 2007 with her partner Luis, when he took this photo of her at the Mitsero Red Lake. The lake was once a quarry used by a copper pyrite mining company and has become a popular if unusual tourist destination even though it is off the beaten track. During the winter it fills up with water which turns red because of the acid. Sarah can be seen sitting next to the water with some box-like objects floating in the background. At one point in her YouTube video Luis jokes, "This is what murder episodes are made of", and Sarah who seems a little creeped out by the place also says, "I just feel death in the air". Fast forward two years and a Captain in the Cypriot army confessed to the murder of five woman and two children. The serial killer admitted he put three of his victims bodies into suitcases and dumped them in the Red Lake. Only two of the bodies has been retrieved there. It would seem that Sarah and her partner were in the presence of the victims when they made their travel vid.
