The STRANGEST Cult I've Ever Heard About... #mysteriousandspooky #occult #scarystories

This is weird… Simon Kadwill, a local oddball in Nannup, Australia, lived with his girlfriend, Chantelle McDougall, and a young girl named 'Leela' Their friend Popic lived in a caravan parked outside the home. Neighbours reported Simon was paranoid about the dangers of magnetic fields and electrical transformers, and buried bottles with batteries and coils in them around the house to absorb the electromagnetic radiation. What locals didn't know was that Simon was a cult leader known only as 'Si', who led a religious sect called The Truth Fellowship. In July 2007 the family made plans to leave Nannup and sold their pet dogs and chickens to their neighbour. When they left they scrawled three words on a piece of paper: “Gone to Brazil.” They then disappeared, never to be seen again. An eerie email found later described a plan for the family to take their lives in the wilderness, with their friend Popic burying them.

Despite repeated appeals the family have never been located.
