In April 1950, mechanic Bruno Facchini of Abbiate Guazzone, Italy investigated strange flashes after a thunderstorm and discovered a metallic disc-shaped craft with three humanoid figures in heavy suits making repairs. When he approached, they communicated with unintelligible sounds. Realizing they weren't human, he fled but was struck by a beam weapon. The next day, he found physical evidence including ground impressions, scorched grass, and metal fragments later analyzed as heat-resistant alloy. Despite village ridicule, Facchini's consistent testimony over decades and physical evidence made this one of Italy's most credible UFO encounters.
