Kansas PARANORMAL CASE From The 1980s We Still Can't Explain

In the late 1980s in rural Kansas, a single mother Julie and her infant son shared their house with a benevolent Victorian-era ghost dubbed "the grey man." While her son often spoke of seeing the spirit, Julie's own encounter came one night when she nearly collided with a well-dressed gentleman in grey, complete with bowler hat and gold watch, who smiled and bowed before vanishing. The spirit engaged in playful pranks like hiding keys and mysteriously letting their dog outside, while also acting as a protective presence - once saving Julie from a falling tree. After a decade of peaceful coexistence, the haunting concluded in 1999 with a final farewell as two kitchen lights went out simultaneously when Julie said goodbye.
