Iowa's PARANORMAL CASE From 1977 We Still Can't Explain

From 1977 to 1988, an Iowa farmhouse was home to a benevolent female spirit who protected young Emily Weaver and her family. Multiple credible witnesses, including conservative banking professionals at a Christmas party, observed the apparition described as having Native American or Asian features. The spirit demonstrated protective behaviors by making sewing shears vanish during Mrs. Weaver's pregnancy, rocking Emily's cradle, warning of an oncoming tornado, and confronting an untrustworthy houseguest who was later found proven to be so. Kitchen disturbances and lights turning on by themselves upon the family returning home were common occurrences. Although the activity ceased when the family moved, a 98-year-old nursing home patient in 2000 reported seeing the same protective female figure still accompanying adult Emily, suggesting the guardian spirit's attachment transcended the physical location.
