Unsolved disappearances are rare. Unsolved disappearances which occurred within roughly the same geographic area are even more rare. Unsolved disappearances of young, dark haired women in which the cars were left behind in both cases are exceedingly rare; and yet all of these attributes apply to the disappearances of Maura Murray and Brianna Maitland.
