Llancaiach Fawr Manor is one of the most haunted places in Wales. Originally built in the 1500s it possesses a long history with ties to the Civil War, but is best known for featuring hundreds of Witch Marks (apotropaic marks) carved into the house itself, to ward of demons, witches and evil spirits - although one small attic's markings are rumored to help contain something dark within.
