Every year the annual Kickstarter campaign is an essential element in allowing us to continue to do what we do here at Small Town Monsters. As an independent film studio, we wouldn’t be here without the support of our audience and community, and these campaigns are the prime example. Over the last decade we’ve been able to do more than we ever could have imagined, and it's all thanks to you and the support provided by the Kickstarter.

The funds we receive from the campaign go directly to financing a portion of our 2025 film slate. A portion, because the costs involved in producing these films far exceeds the amount we receive during the course of a single campaign. The Kickstarter provides us the opportunity to do just that - “kick start” the next year of production, while sustaining the level of quality and entertainment you’ve come to expect. While there are many additional costs involved, and ever-evolving challenges in distribution and marketing, we know that with your help the next generation of STM movies is just around the corner.

Without your support, Small Town Monsters would not have made it to ten years. We would not have been able to produce more than two dozen full-length documentaries, nor hundreds of hours of podcasts, streaming video and more. Without your help, dozens of stories from across America (and beyond) may have gone untold, and even been lost to time. This year we’re saying thank you with our biggest reward roster to date, and we hope you’ll join us as we continue the journey in 2025.

Dawn of the Dogman:
