This Nazi Dr Was The Definition of a TRUE Monster…

Dr Josef Mengele was a Nazi war criminal known as the "Angel of Death". He was a physician and SS officer during WWII at Auschwitz concentration camp. He chose who should be sent to the gas chamber at the camp. Mengele used his time at Auschwitz as an opportunity to carry out human experimentation. His fascination with twins was extensive and he can be seen here conducting some cruel research on twin boys. Usually he would experiment on one twin and then kill the other so that he could compare the two bodies. Mengele intended to help prove the superiority of the Aryan race by demonstrating that biological inheritance won out over environmental factors. It's possible that Mengele may also have wanted to find out how the German people could produce more twins and add to their numbers. At the end of the war Mengele fled to South America moving from country to country whilst being pursued by Nazi hunters such as Simon Wiesenthal. In 1979 he suffered a stroke whilst swimming off the coast of Brazil and drowned. He was buried under a false identity but later exhumed and identified. His skeleton is used as an educational tool at the University of Sãn Paulo.
