The Solway Firth "Spaceman" is the name given to an anomalous figure in a photograph taken in Cumberland, England, 1964. For the unsettling mystery surrounding the origin of the figure in the image, the photograph is a prime example of a true anomaly: one that we can't place in any category whatsoever, let alone one recognized by science. It's a good metaphor for the science of anomalistics, and a natural choice for the first video in the series.
