Wife Solved Her Own Murder After Husband's Second Attempt Succeeded #shorts

After years of abuse in March 2000 Sandra Duyst was shot and killed by her outwardly respectable husband, David. However he tried to make the murder look like a suicide, and it almost worked. Initially investigators believed that Sandra had taken her own life using a gun. But after an autopsy report concluded that she had two holes in her head there was no way this was the case. Further investigations revealed David was having an affair with his secretary Linda Ryan and she had given him an ultimatum: He needed to end it with his wife. Soon David became the prime suspect and an eerie piece of evidence confirmed this.

Sandra Duyst had left her sister a note that she kept hidden in her china cabinet. When she died, her sister directed police to the note and was shocked by its contents. It stated that her husband had tried to kill her the year before by beating her with a hammer although everyone believed that her injuries were caused by one of her horses kicking her in the head. The note also added that if she was dead, David had done it. Once police gathered all of the evidence and authenticated the note from the grave, David Duyst was arrested and charged with murder.
