A young Korean woman was held up at University and returned to her apartment alone late at night. As she headed to her building she was aware of how quiet and dark it was and unusually no one was around.

As she got into the elevator to her room a handsome young man pushed his hand through the closing door and stopped it, before entering.

The young woman lived on the fourteenth floor and he pressed the button for the thirteenth. Throughout the ride up, the woman steals glances at the man and feels a connection with him. When they reach the 13th floor he smiles at her and says See You. The woman blushes slightly misinterpreting what he means and replies “yes hopefully” Before the elevator door closes the woman watches as the man walks up the stair, to her horror she notices he has taken out a knife from his coat and is laughing maniacally. Before she can stop the lift it carries on to the next floor. The terrified woman realises there is nothing she can do to divert the lift. When the door opens to her floor the man is waiting for her.

The next day her neighbours find her body sliced to ribbons. Ever since the incident Korea has made it mandatory for all elevators to have a stop button!
