Bizarre (Bigfoot?) Scream Sends Mushroom-Hunter Packing

Quick question: What species in North America is so protective of mushrooms that it screams and ungodly scream just to run off a guy filming mushrooms?

In a time when we can “see & compare” sounds, finally, after a decade, we can now do some simple, scientific comparisons, like marching fingerprints, to see if this terrifying scream was from some known species … or Bigfoot.

Hey Tribe ...!

This past week my wife and I lost our beloved Viking. Our industrial quality kitchen range that we have loved and depended on for the past nine years. And since our Viking was at least twenty years old, we couldn't justify spending $550 for one part. Especially when other parts seemed on the verge of failure.

So I spent from Wednesday to Friday night trying to find some guys that could help me move a 400 lb range down a flight of stairs with two tight turns.

I finally found somebody. And they didn't show up until late Friday evening. That's the first time in almost fifteen years that I missed my Friday night video release. Sorry about that.

And with the knowledge that all ranges are now meant to fail "soon & often," straight from the factory, MrsThunker and I agreed that we wanted an alternative to your standard "cooking kitchen" setup. I'll give up an update photo once everything is in place and tested. (But it rhymes with "nuclear fusion.") That's a joke.

Merry Christmas everyone! And THANK YOU ALL for being such an important part of my research. I believe we're opening eyes, one set at a time. We should hit critical mass on that any moment now ;)
