The incredible pyramids of Giza have stood the test of time, stripped of their casing, yes, attacked with explosives, tunnelled into and looted, yes, but still structurally sound some four and a half thousand years later.
But sadly, the pyramids stand pretty much empty today, with only a handful of artefacts ever found inside them, and until very recently, I didn't know that two small objects were found inside the Pyramid of Khafre in the 1940s.
The objects in question were a finger bone and a piece of wood and more than 50 years after they were discovered, they were scientifically dated. What were the results? Could they tell us the age of the Khafre Pyramid? Watch the video to learn more.
