This Man Erased Himself: The Peter Bergmann Mystery

In 2009, a dying man methodically erased his identity over three days in Sligo, Ireland. Thirteen trips with purple bags. Tags cut from clothing. Surveillance expertly avoided. When his body washed ashore, investigators found the perfect disappearance that wasn't. Sixteen years later, "Peter Bergmann" remains a ghost with a corpse - his true identity as elusive as his motives.
