Hidden among the rugged landscape of Arizona’s Superstition Mountains is an object that has recently attracted enormous attention online. The discovery began when a Twitter user named Don shared footage taken from satellite imagery showing what appeared to be an enormous geometric structure embedded directly into the mountainside. Its enormous flat surfaces, sharp edges and almost cube-like shape seemed completely different from the fractured cliffs surrounding it, creating the appearance of something constructed rather than naturally formed.
