In 1212, tens of thousands of children set out to free Jerusalem, convinced they were chosen by God. Led by young visionaries like Nicholas of Cologne and Stephen of Cloyes, they crossed mountains, endured famine, and faced storms—only to meet tragedy. Some died crossing the Alps, others perished at sea, and many were sold into slavery in North Africa.

This documentary uncovers the forgotten story of the Children’s Crusade—a tale of faith, hope, betrayal, and loss that has puzzled historians for centuries. Who led these children? Why did no one stop them? And what really happened when they reached the Mediterranean Sea?

Discover the heartbreaking journey of the children who believed they could change history—armed with nothing but faith.
