On the evening of September 1st, 1969, the small town of Sheffield in Berkshire County, Massachusetts witnessed something that has never been fully explained. As many as 250 people reported a solid craft in the sky that night, and several witnesses - most of them children - claimed they were taken aboard. It remains the only UFO case in American history to be officially recognised by a state historical society.
