The Ascending Passageway of the Great Pyramid incorporates large, single blocks of limestone, hollowed out to form the walls, floor and ceiling of the passageway.

Known as pyramid’s Girdle Stones, you don’t see them in any other part of the Great Pyramid. They’re an anomaly. Passing through the corridor and you wouldn’t even notice them, but the girdle stones must have been incorporated for a reason.
