Newark officials are lifting the curfew imposed earlier this week following violent clashes with Department of Homeland Security officers outside of Delaney Hall immigration detention facility. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka now plans to remove the restricted protest zones and instead rely on clergy members and community leaders as peacekeepers.
